We start by cutting and removing the sod above the planned trenches, placing down ground protection mats to keep the area clean. The trenches are excavated starting at a depth of 14″, with all excavated trench soil getting hauled away. The trench is then lined with geotextile fabric to prevent soil from contaminating the system, and we install two or more 4″ perforated Baughman tile drainpipes. The pipes are covered with 2″ cobblestone and the fabric is burrito wrapped.
To finish, we put the sod back over the trench, leaving the drain completely invisible yet fully functional. This meticulous approach ensures long-lasting performance and a seamless appearance for your property.
