If you have water issues in St Clair Shores, I highly recommend Rob and his crew. I had a french drain installed due to my garage flooding. Rob came out within a day of me calling to give an estimate, whereas some, I had to wait a month.. just for the estimate. It was done in a day and a half… you’d never know they were here. Excellent french drain services and clean up, and I have a nice rock border.

I highly recommend Rob and the team for French drain services. Our backyard in Warren would flood so bad after a hard rain that our poor dog wouldn’t go do his business. We also would have water find its way into the basement because it was pooling on the side of the house. Now with the drainage system installed we have had no water in the basement and one happy dog. Rob and his team are very hard workers, handled materials and tight areas with care. There is nothing more satisfying than watching water pour out of our pop up.

This company was everything to be expected when you’re dealing in a professional manner. As a first time home buyer, I had some things that needed to be addressed with the house, and one was having major backyard flooding issues. I looked around and found Stumpfs Outdoor Services was not only close but had a great reputation for quality french drain services. They came out quickly and gave me a reasonable quote to install a French drain system in my backyard. They scheduled me out, called the city for all the necessary permits that were needed and had the job done within a week, even with bad weather during the week. While they were here, he also gave me a quote to have a new back privacy fence installed because mine was on its last leg. They were able to install the fence while still being on site and I couldn’t be happier. 11/10 for this company for their communication, professionalism, workmanship, and price. They will be getting my business for anything in the future when it comes to this line of work.

We have used Stumpf Lawn and Landscaping Service at our Roseville home for years. They cut and edged our lawn and it looks perfect. When we needed new landscaping in our back yard beds we called Rob at Stumpf. He also recommended French drains because he noticed a water issue. We also needed old shrubs in the front removed and new stone added. Stumpf was able to handle all our problems. This spring we jointly came up with a plan. All shrubs in the back were removed, new ones added along with perennials and the crown jewels are the new brick walls around both beds. Love it! The Stumpf crew came when promised and work hard installing the drains and removing and planting all the landscaping. They were very respectful of our property and always cleaned at the end of each day. So if you need a good, honest and reliable lawn/landscaping service this is the one to call. We can’t say enough good about them. Wish we could give more than 5 stars! Thank you Rob and crew for a fantastic job! We love it.

Rob and his crew did an absolutely amazing job. I live in Roseville and have I had flooding problems in my garage for years. It was so bad that I’d be up all night vacuuming up water. I’ve had other companies come out that either weren’t interested or were not confident that they could fix the problem. Stumpf’s came out and in five minutes, Rob guaranteed that he could fix the problem and I would not have any more water problems at all. He installed a French drain and a curtain drain around my garage. Well, we have had some heavy rain in the last two days. He was true to his word. There is not one drop of water in my garage. Not only did they impress me, but the city inspector came out and told me that I could not have chosen a better french drain services company. These guys were all very kind and worked very hard in the heat. They even brought me some outstanding fresh eggs from their farm. Have had these guys for about 2.5 years for my lawn care. They do a very comprehensive job of cutting, edging, and cleanup. They also did a very good looking job with some landscaping I had them do in the front of my house. (it was changing my front beds out for some rocks/small bushes, and purging the old tree stumps out of the front yard. They are a bit pricier than your run-of-mill independent cutter, but they are VERY consistent and reliable.

Stumpf’s Outdoor Service is a great company and I HIGHLY recommend having them out to look at any yard issues. If you live in Fraser, you know we are on clay and have a very high water table, especially in my sub. I had a nice pond in my backyard of over 6″ deep most of the year. Sure the ducks loved it, and the kids had a nice skating rink in the winter. But, half of my yard was underwater that I couldn’t use, had to tear down my shed and just live with the eyesore. That is until I call upon Rob and his crew from Stumpf’s Outdoor for French Drain Services. They installed over 100 feet of French drain. Not only in my yard, but also two of my neighbors. Just so that my yard would drain into an existing sewer. We discussed the plan of attack and size of the project prior to any digging taking place. Stumpf’s Outdoor was very respectful not only to my yard and my family but also to my neighbors. Stumpf’s Outdoor Service is an excellent company that will have ALL my future business.

From the moment I called the team at Stumpf’s they were tremendous. I live in Saint Clair Shores, where the rain comes down in puddles and I needed a solution that could keep the far end of the house dry as that’s where I’ve had standing water in the past. Running the downspouts out into the yard didn’t hold up because the dogs see them as toys. So after a full consultation and a few different solutions discussed, we went with a French drain. I have a ditch on one side of my yard that of my property would drain into to during a rain. The problem is the ditch itself didn’t have any place to drain out to, so it would overflow and then have stagnant water for weeks sometimes. Stumpfs dug out the ditch and put in drain pipes to take the water away. No more standing water for breeding mosquitos.

I first contracted with Stumpf’s 6 years ago as I had flooding in my backyard and along the side of my house. Rob and his crew installed French drains. The drains work very well. I also requested easy maintenance landscaping but had no idea what that may entail, so I told Rob he could do whatever he wanted. He came out with his surveying tools and gave me a fair, honest and reasonable estimate on a French drain system and downspout tie-ins to take all rainwater away from my property.
